Roles & Responsibilities:
Ø  Preparation of customized abstracts which involves capturing of essential information elements of patents, articles, conference proceedings, research papers, technical manuals, standards, product literature and commercial documents.

Ø  Analyzing and abstracting patent documents or technical literature under various categories such as semiconductor, instrumentation, industrial, transportation, computing and communication.

Ø  Processing patents, and deciphering the claims and specifications to identify the scope, novel information and its varied applications, in multiple languages in Life Sciences & Engineering domains including different Industrial standards and Trademarks.

Ø  Dealing with patents of various countries including US, Japan, Korea, China, Germany, Australia, Britain, Europe, Russia and World patents.

Ø  Updating new rules regarding abstracting and mentoring my juniors for quality abstracting.

Ø  Editing of abstracts of patents or technical literature prepared by various engineers or editors.

Ø  Giving feedbacks to my juniors so as to avoid the mistakes in their future abstracts.

Ø  Validating the abstracts to produce an error free quality abstract.

Ø  Quality control of the technical scripts.

Ø  Interacting with the data entry operators so as to ensure accurate keying of technical information.
