WORK EXPERIENCE

(A) Worked as a Network Engineer in HCL comnet from 3rd October 2012 to 19th December 2016.

Client:- Punjab National Bank

The PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK consists of 98 branches connected by leased line circuits and backup of ISDN RF and VSAT in Kozhikode/Calicut. This network is a part of their backbone network setup which connects all the PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK branches Across India and overseas. The routers used were a combination of Cisco 3845, 1941, 1841 and 1751

The work profile includes a 40 percent of implementation tasks and 60 percent of support operations.

Implementation Works.

Ø  Leased line procurement, implementation.

Ø  Major Upgrades of Cisco IOS routers, ADSL routers and switches.

Ø  Upgrades and maintenance activities.

Ø  Periodic Failover testing.

Ø  Ensure that all Leased Line related issues are administered and resolved according the Service Level Agreement.

Ø  Documentation of the scope of work and progress in the implementation projects.

OPERATIONS

Ø  Resolving issues or incidents raised by customers in regards to the Network (LAN/WAN) as well as with the Windows clients and servers.

Ø  Attending the service requests raised by customer. Its technical assessments with vendor and senior consultants which might require complex configuration changes.

Ø  Onsite hands and eye support including maintenance for the DC on job rotation basis.

Ø  Periodic test plans to ensure that the Network and the functional specifications are tested and fulfilled. Eg: Failover tests

Ø  Work Over-time when required.
