PROFILE

With a total of 14 years work experience in the field of electrical engineering in the design andconstruction of oil and gas projects, commercial and industrial buildings, involving in the implementation, inspection, monitoring and supervision, worked under EPC, PMC and PMT. With good knowledge and experience in indoor and outdoor substations involving LV, MV and HV system, which is including testing and commissioning. I am adept at determining specifications, preparing diagrams and schematics, and authoring all documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Carry out site engineering and supervision of all electrical works carried out by contractors. Including providing direction to contractors for site installation, resolution of site engineering issues as well as ensuring that all works are carried out all necessary QA/QC checks.
·       Review of materials and equipment requirements against purchase order and materials take off.
·       Verification on site the completed and inspected works against the progress report submitted by contractor.
·       Oversees the daily construction activities at work site, including scheduling of work force and progress of the project.
·       Review and give comments to electrical engineering drawings and documents including studies and calculations submitted by EPC contractor.
·       Monitoring and verification of contractor activities if they are complying with contract and adhering to project specifications and standards.
·       Review and follow up to EPC the base construction schedule and ensure the target schedule shall be accomplished on time.
·       Review the safety requirement and ensure that everybody shall comply with HSE rules and regulations.
·       Review and give comments/answer to technical query raised by EPC contractor
·       Review and give comments to materials submittal submitted by EPC contractor
·       Review and give comments to both E & I, ITP, QCP and method statement
·       Review of field revision change request from EPC
·       Give advice to EPC regarding the priority activities to avoid conflict with other discipline
·       Verification of electrical installation on site including building works and process area and identify any issues.
·       Monitoring and inspection of daily electrical construction activities in anode baking plant and in cast house.
·       Review of mechanical completion check records for completeness and accuracy using project completion system.
·       Coordination with EPC related to electrical issue that needs to be done to meet the project requirements and specification.
·       Witness to electrical testing and commissioning activities
·       Inspection and verification of punch list items prior to issuance of hand over   certificate and livening up notice to contractor.
·       Review and checking of electrical drawings and documents submitted by contractor.
·       Review and approval of electrical inspection and test plan, quality control procedures and method statement.
·       Review and approval of materials to be used by contractor.
·       Verification of the complete and correct implementation of the construction quality policies and procedures by the contractor.
·       Managing construction activities carried out by contractors, ensuring the scope of work is achieved in accordance with contract requirements and time frame, and in compliance with specifications and standards established.
·       Monitoring, supervision and inspection of electrical installation and witness the testing and commissioning of 230KV ABB GIS switchgear and 34.5KV Siemens GIS, 13.8KV and 4.16KV air insulated switchgear,100 and 250 MVA power transformers, medium voltage and low voltage motors, low voltage switchgear and MCC, diesel generator and ATS, UPS and battery charger, annunciator panel for indication of alarms and trip signal, plant lighting and receptacle, fire alarm system, paging system, heat tracing, CP system, grounding and lightning system and all electrical installations in buildings.
·       Monitoring and inspection of marshaling cabinets and DCS installation.
·       Monitoring and inspection of telephone system installation, such as PABX, MDF, TTB and PA system
·       Inspection of the whole electrical system prior to mechanical completion and prepare punch list for incomplete, defects or faulty installation and signing off after satisfactory completion.
·       Reply of technical query raised by sub-contractor
·       Review of Technical bid evaluation for electrical equipment & materials.
·       Monitoring and inspection of electrical equipment installation, cable ladder, conduit installation, cable pulling, termination of MV and LV power cables.
·       Prepare requisition for electrical materials and equipment to be used in project.
·       Responsible for implementation and supervision of electrical installation, testing and commissioning of main electrical substation equipment such as medium voltages switchgear, capacitor bank, supervisory & control panel, power transformers, MCC, UPS, battery bank, rectifier, bus duct and medium voltage generator.
·       Review the mechanical and electrical interlocking system and interface wiring of switchgear.
·       Preparation of detailed weekly and monthly schedule.
·       Preparation of variation order for equipment supply and changes in installation scope.
·       Preventive maintenance of indoor substation electrical equipment
·       Assist with vendor in testing and commissioning of power transformers, switchgears and MCC and other electrical equipment’s.
·       Inspection of electrical installation and witness the testing and commissioning of the following, 100MVA power transformer, 132KV GIS switchgear, 33KV bus duct, MCC, control panel, CP system for tanks and u/g pipeline, plant lighting and power receptacle, and motors.
·       Conduct field inspection and verification of electrical and instrumentation installation on site.
·       Conduct materials and equipment’s inspection for E & I.
·       Monitoring and inspection of cable ladders and conduit installation.
·       Verification of the correct implementation of quality procedures.
·       In charge in electrical testing and pre commissioning.
·       Verification of field installation for as built drawing.
·       In charge in project supervision and implementation of high rise hotel building and industrial buildings for all electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
·       Takeoff and costing of electrical equipment & materials for the prospective project.
·       Assisting and in charge of electrical works for various residential projects.
