Provide technical support and assistance to several customers across the globe subscribing to a wide range of managed services. Act as a Tier1,managed and support the global network of Asia Pacific Accounts (managed and unmanaged network accountd) and previous handle account on Johnson and Johnson.

Operate ETMS System in a 7×24 environment managing proactive network events, performing initial diagnostics, and escalating to a higher level technical support groups in order to resolve issues related to managed services.

Proactively detect anomalies and performance issues impacting managed services and bring problems to resolution.

Perform incident management, problem management, end-to-end trouble isolation and repair on circuit and network incidents.

Work with LECs, PTTs, and third-party vendors, as well as Customer Service Centers, Network Management Centers, Operations groups, and customer to facilitate isolation and repair of faults within established baseline objectives.

Keep customers updated regularly on efforts aimed at restoration of their services and maintain accurate logs of trouble isolation and repair efforts.

Job Description:

Supervise the operations and support functions in the areas of Data communications, PABX and network management. Responsible with the commissioning of the following communication equipment:

·         Cisco switches – perform hardware and software moves, adds and changes. Configure VLAN and port restrictions for Cisco Switches.

·         CISCO Router – provide the wide area connectivity of branches and remote offices to AUB Head Office. Perform health, counters, logs, security monitoring. Perform hardware upgrade and IOS update as necessary. Configure VoIP connection from HO to provincial branches that cater QoS by Telco.

·         Modem/DSU –  data service units use MPLS, IPvPN connection dial-up connections for branches, and remote offices

·         Voice Logger – monitor and maintain voice logs for the selected department.

·         Nortel 1100C PABX and Ericsson BP250 PABX – a Private Automatic Branch Exchange that serves the telephone requirement of HO telephone network. This includes the programming regular testing of trunks, local lines, direct lines, telephone features (analog and digital phone) and other services provided by PABX. Analyzes and sets specific parameters such as service feature class, authorization codes, access levels, call restriction and coverage path to set call flow and alternative options for various stations, hunt groups and trunks.

Manages network and telecom projects and enhancements, which include branch expansion, equipment upgrade and installation of new technology.   Coordinate with TELCO for new telecom requirements such as telephone lines, MPLS and Regular IPvPN.

Monitors quality of network performance and initiates appropriate corrective action to resolve problems as they occur.

·         Ensure the continues operation of Wide Area Network specifically the MPLS, IPvPN Service and Wireless VPN connections provided by the TELCO.

·         Provide dial-up connection for branches in case of WAN outages.

·         Has the responsibility for managing bandwidth resources and provide optimization plan to support the bank’s online operations

Mobilizes Network Engineer in servicing network and telecom requirement by users in Head Office, remote offices and branches.

Supervised and maintain existing structured cabling of AUB. Provide updated cable termination record.

Documents network configuration and standard operation procedures. Maintain records of installed equipment, software, repairs and maintenance, downtime, changes and updates.
