Duties & Responsibilities:

· Review and approval of Quality documents such as quality control procedure, ITP, Vendor specifications, material approvals along with advice on selection of coating material and the right paints system suitable to the relevant components.
· Supervising and witnessing surveillance inspection in suitable atmospheric condition on surface preparation by abrasive & tool cleaning and painting activities by airless/air spray & brush as per relevant inspection points stipulated in ITP.
· Ensuring proper paint Mixing/Agitation, pot life, Induction time, Curing time, Recoating interval with measurement of WFT, DFTat specified stages, & also ensure the job is carried out by qualified personnel.
· Carrying out destructive testing of paints whenever necessary to ensure the integrity of the paint film.
· Supervising holiday inspection with high voltage holiday detector for UG piping and internal linings.
· Monitoring receiving inspection of various abrasive materials (garnet, grit, shot,sand and slag), paints, and coatings along with hot & cold insulation materials.
