Job Description
 Responsible for Inspection and Maintenance of Transmission & Sub transmission Line Structures to Maintain Reliable & Continues
Electric Service.
 Replacement of Rotten Poles, Cross arms and other Defective fixtures.
 Replacement of broken insulators.
 Installation of an erection of additional wood poles structures.
 Rehabilitation /repair and conversion of existing wood pole structures.
 Replacement, rehabilitation, repair of critical wood pole and tower structures.
 Repair of sagging of overhead ground wires and conductors on transmission lines, switchyard & power take-off structures.
 Overhead work in dismantling /installation of wave trap, instrument transformer, lightning arresters, and breakers air brake switches and other substation equipment and facilities.
 Overhead line activities in the vent of re-routing, reconductoring, splicing, armoring of wires and cables or retiring of transmission lines and equipment.
 Sectionalizing, troubleshooting of faulted lines during forced line outages and other outages.
 Overhead line activities during task force work on cash projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
 Regular and routine inspection/patrol of transmission lines.
 Backfilling, riprapping of eroded and scoured tower and pole site.

 Installation of pole support on semi-critical woodpole structures.
 Trimming and clearing of tall trees, bushes and other obstruction posing hazard to the system, to human lives and properties.
 Installation of additional storm guys and correction of leaning poles.
 Joint inspection/inventory task prior to acceptance/commissioning of finish transmission line project.
 Line patrol and inspection report with documentation.
 Weekly and monthly accomplishment report with documentation.
 Practice occupational health and safety procedures
 Practice career professionalism
 Obey safety rules and regulations of the company
 Work in team environment
 Participate in workplace communication
