Re: Competition Number – Administrative Support 4 (Information Officer)
I would like to express my great interest in the Information Officer position with the Government of Alberta. I believe my previous experience will provide the commitment and expertise needed for success in this role. Please allow me to offer my insight as to why I believe I would be a suitable candidate for this position:
· As a staffing consultant, I worked with many clients to recruit for Class 1 and 3 Drivers. Part of my responsibilities included obtaining driver abstracts, booking and obtaining results for Drug and alcohol testing, and criminal background checks. Other duties included daily communications with multiple candidates for recruitment including logistics and coordinating to all job sites
In my experience as a Safety Manager in the hospitality industry, I had daily communications with all staff, camp managers and senior personnel at all camp locations to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and OH/S legislation was always met including our registered drivers onsite
As a store owner/operator, I was responsible for the store’s inventory control, merchandising, marketing, customer service and sales excellence. I developed great communication skills, computer skills, and built relationships with staff, market managers and store vendors.
I consider myself to be a professional, reliable and knowledgeable team player which is evident in my experience. Thank you for taking the time to review the attached resume. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Joey Rawdah
