Pre-assess farm applicants if conformed on Philippine National Standard (4 elements: Food safety, food quality, environmental management and workers health, safety and welfare for GAP Certification).
Provide technical recommendation to farm applicants (focus on Producing Quality High Value and Agronomic crops) based on the Philippine National Standards.
Follow up Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) documentary requirements of farm applicants; check and ensure recommendations are done by farm applicants.

Submit and follow up GAP applications to the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) such on date of inspection, release of GAP certification and among others.
Conduct and facilitate GAP activities in the Provinces such Trainings and meetings;
Perform other functions which may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
