POWER SYSTEM OPERATION CORPORATION LTD.(POSOCO) –A Govt. of India Company engaged in real-time GRID operation for electrical transmission system at pan India level. It was previously a wholly owned subsidiary Company of POWERGRID engaged in bulk Electric Power Transmission through the network of Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines and Substations. POSOCO is now operating the National Grid independently to facilitate Transmission through Grid Management to its stake holders like State Electricity Boards, Private Distribution Companies by providing Long Term, Middle Term & Short Term Access to the National Grid through their Load Dispatch Centers located in various parts thereby covering the entire Country.

• Appraisals: – Processing the Appraisal reports of all categories of Employees i.e. Executives,
Supervisors & Workmen. Serving promotion data to Management for taking decision.
• Promotions: – Processing the promotion cases of eligible Employees.
• Policy Implementation & related Matters: – Processing all cases related to policy and providing
clarifications and clearing the conflicting cases.
• Welfare of Employees:- Empanelment of Hospitals, Indoor treatments of Employees, Medical cases etc.
• Disciplinary cases :- All types of disciplinary cases, domestic enquiry etc.
• Industrial Relations :- Meetings with Union and resolving the issues.
• Administration: – Protocols, Booking of Taxies, Arranging accommodation in Hotels etc.
