Senior Engineer / Maintenance, Planning and Control Section

Responsible for the efficient and effective planning, scheduling, asset management and implementation of all substation/plant facilities and corresponding equipment, secondary devices and revenue metering facilities Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the implementation of revenue metering activity under MTD-A AOR.
Prepares annual maintenance program of substation facilities in the assigned AOR. Prepares the Division’s Annual Preventive Maintenance Calendar.
Evaluate and analyze equipment service reports and its corresponding test data & inspection checklist for scheduling of next preventive maintenance and/or replacement.
Prepares and issues maintenance orders.
Conduct planning and preparation of annual maintenance program of maintenance and testing division.
Maintain updated records of equipment nameplates, maintenance history and other pertinent parameters of all installed high voltage equipment.
Ensure availability of spare parts, materials and other supplies needed in the repair and maintenance of metering facility.
Identifies and recommends areas for improvement of existing O&M substation equipment and facilities;
Provide technical assistance to Metering section during the conduct of maintenance activities.
Senior Engineer / Metering Section

Supervises the Sr. Technician for the proper implementation of work and performance of the following:

Pre-energization tests and inspection on new metering facilities of power customers, consisting of: insulation resistance testing (megger), instrument transformer ratio and phase deviation and grounding resistance testing.
Installation, conduiting and wiring of metering facilities for new and rehabilitated metering points.
Installation/wiring of GSM modems on revenue metering equipment.
Meter shop/bench testing of revenue meters.
Field testing/calibration of revenue metering equipment.
Entry metering equipment nameplate data and test data on meter test reports, maintenance reports, as-built drawings of existing and revised metering circuits.
Create Meter Installation Registration form (MIRF) with attachment of Single Line drawing, three line diagram and others for the enrollment of new customers to Philippine Electricity Market Corp. (PEMC).
Performs final check on the newly installed and revised metering circuits of revenue metering equipment.
Programs and configures the meters for revenue metering service meters.
Performs meter data downloading and evaluation of data on failed communications of metering point.
 

Senior Engineer Substation / SLD1 Dasmarinas Substation (500/230/115KV S/Y)

1.     Executes operating orders and switching procedures during outages and normalization of substation equipment and transmission lines.

2.     Conducts routine inspection of all substation equipment.

3.     Logs all operational data from statistical meters, gauges, annunciators, protective relays, etc.

4.     Receives, prepares, transmits and files operational reports, correspondences and other related documents.

5.     Participates in the preventive and corrective maintenance activities of substation equipment.

6.     Prepares switching sequences for requested shutdowns.

7.     Assists in the installation, upgrading and commissioning of substation equipment.
