• Handles Operations in micro laboratory
• Schedules, prepares and analyzes samples according to approved methods for Microbiology
• Performs routine microbiological analysis according to schedules
• Ensures accuracy of the laboratory results of Microbiological Laboratory by verifying QC data, analytical procedures, verification and validation reports
• Complies with Code of Ethics, Chemical and Microbiological safety, Good Laboratory Practices and Corporate Policies and Procedures
• Analyzes and interprets microbiology laboratory data to support to operational issues for raw materials, in- process and finished products
• Responsible for preparing and maintain the assigned laboratory equipment and identifies areas for continual improvement of the assigned laboratory environment
• Advises the Sr. Microbiologist on the progress, needs, problems and potential problems
• Performs studies/ projects in a team environment as may be assigned
• Inventory of Media and other supplies used for micro laboratory
• Handles and operates Biolog Machine, Molecular Detection System, Water Membrane Filter System, and Microscope
• Participate and perform Proficiency Testing for Non-Pathogenic (Total Plate Count, Yeast Count, Mold Count, and Coliform Count) and for Pathogenic (Salmonella, Listeria, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli)
• Knowledge in identification and in confirmation of Pathogens Pathologic (Salmonella, Listeria, Staphylococcus aureus, and Escherichia coli) by using Analytic Profile Index or API and Biolog

and Mold Count
