• Participates in initial project planning by attending technical meetings with senior engineers, or accompanying senior engineers to the project site for field check.
• Make assembly drawings of mechanical equipments; make layout or assembly drawings of support structures; make assembly or installation manuals for the installation process.
• Makes part drawings out of assembly or layout drawings, providing all part details and dimensions for fabrication.
• Calculate chain tension, weigh parts and equipments, and stresses of conveyor structures.
• Makes 3D drawings of equipments for stress analysis (this is delegated to selected engineers who undergo special training).
• Communicates constantly wit colleagues, and with senior designer in Japan, USA, and other NKC subsidiaries through e-mail or telephone throughout the project period.
