Duties and Responsibilities

Take patient’s vital signs and determine if the range is abnormal

Feed patient and mash up food if necessary.

Bathe and dress patient. Applying moisturizer cream and special medicated cream as prescribed

Observe and record patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

Observe and record fluid intake and output.

Develop nurturing relationships with patient.

Empty bedpans and change dirty linens.

Transfer the resident from their room to the dinning hall

Doing nail care, ear care, oral care as per assignment

Turn 2 hourly or reposition patients who are bedridden

Examine and record patients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries or other abnormalities
