Volunteer Experience or Leadership
Handled school kids ages 7 to 12 since July 2011. Held responsible in instilling values in their young minds and to boost their confidence through stage performances and activities as they discover their talents and skills in Mathematics.
Have been exposed and trained in the actual teaching field as a student teacher in Don Honorio technological State University.
Assumed teaching responsibilities under the leadership and supervision of classroom teacher. Helped design and facilitate daily lesson plans and activities in Mathematics 9 (Geometry) for 5 sections in Grade 9 which consist of 40-45 students per section. Managed students by establishing an appropriate climate and earning respect through effective leadership techniques. Maintained effective communications with staff and parents. Utilized various teaching strategies that encourage student participation.
