A government owned utility supplying 190 million gallons of potable water each day, as well as wastewater services, to its more than 400,000 registered accounts representing approximately 2 million persons across Jamaica

 

Inventory Manager  May 2012 – Dec 2018

Operations Manager for 13 satellite locations with over J$1.1 billion portfolio. Coordinated the receipt and dispatch of all inventory, non/inventory materials and services provided. Oversee business development and performance.

 

·         Successfully aligned the Corporate Stores with Project Implementation to ensure material availability for capital projects.

·         Implemented tracking system for high-volume items which resulted in reduction of stock-out occurrences by 50%.

·         Developed programs to reduce stock variances and improved accuracy of inventory database.

·         Achieved 95% reduction in lost chlorine cylinders by implementing a tracking system for chlorine delivery.

Conducted risk assessments, identified and defined issues, and made recommendations for improvements. Quality assurance to ensure compliance with government and industry standards

Alumina Partners of Jamaica, Jamaica W.I.

Alumina Partners of Jamaica mines, processes bauxite and exports 1.65 million tons of alumina overseas per year; and earns gross revenues of approximately US$1 billion annually.

 

Maintenance and Turnaround Planner and Scheduler

Developed and implemented projects: costing, timelines, workforce/resource management, and procured material for routine maintenance. Directed major turnaround projects in all departments of the Alumina refinery. Coordinated the engagement and activities of local and international contractors to ensure that budgeted costs were met.
