● Monitors on hourly basis the temperature of blanched materials and immediately reports to Blancher Operator/GDP Foreman any deviations noted especially when the temperature falls below 85°C.
● Prepares sulfite solution and conducts hourly testing to check concentration of soaking liquor strength and makes necessary adjustment in case of deviation.
● Performs residual sulfite determination of DC samples from line, composited samples of final products, lowfat DC and other samples; conducts SO2 retest if necessary and reports immediately the specific products identified to be off-specification (high or low SO2).
● Performs residual sulfite determination of retained samples for checking of dissipation SO2.
● Prepares sulfite solution intended for reprocessed DC materials and monitors quality of materials being processed (re-blanch).
● Monitors draining of surge tank and chemical tank.
● Performs and performs standardization of chemical reagents needed for analysis.
● Prepared chlorine solution for air washer and then checks residual chlorine level after dosing, inspects cleanliness and orderliness of nearby areas, monitors functionality of air washer nozzles and reports defective ones to Engineering/Maintenance for immediate repairs.

● Analysis moisture and Free Fatty Acids (FFA) of oil sample.
● Conducts inspection from Opening up to Wet Section during in-Plant Cleaning (IPC) and Shutdown Cleaning, informs Foreman/Supervisor of the inspection findings and submits inspection reports on time.
● Conducts weekly verification of thermometer used in monitoring blancher temperature.
● Monitors chemical reagent stocks and informs Assistant Supervisor for diminishing stocks (stocks reaching order limit).
● Participates regularly in Collaborative tests.
