Job Description
1. Collection and preservation of specimen.
2. Obtains specimen such as urine, stool, discharges and other body fluids or specimen from patients using established laboratory techniques.
3. Perform specimen collection from patients whenever necessary.
4. Performs blood collection from adult and pediatric patients.
5. Performs routine and special examinations in Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology/Immunology, and Bacteriology.
6. Records all examination results in the appropriate logbook
7. Receiving specimen and releasing of accurate results.
8. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the working area.
9. Ensures proper maintenance of the equipment in the different sections.
10. Ensures that all examinations done are quality controlled.
11. Prepares different reagents and solutions needed in the section.
