Editor-in-chief, Lakambini Magazine : April 2019-Present

Lakambini Magazine is an online women’s magazine. The role of editor-in-chief in the magazine contains duties of keeping track of all the articles from the conceptualization process until the editing & publishing process. The editor-in-chief is also responsible for organizing and overseeing the staff and other projects of the magazine.

Editor-in-Chief, Outcrop : September 2018-Present

Outcrop is the official student publication of the University of the Philippines Baguio. The editor-in-chief is responsible for overseeing and leading the newspaper and its staff all throughout the academic year —may it be for the print or social media sites of the publication.

Vice-Chairperson, Obra :  August 2018- April 2019

Obra is the first and only multimedia organization in the University of the Philippines Baguio. The vice-chairperson represents the organization in external matters and helps the chairperson in consolidating the members.

Good day!

I am Daoden Kate A. Sarmiento, a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of the Philippines. I have a major in journalism and a minor in broadcast communication.

Although I do not have a working experience as a regular employee to any company, I have taken my on-the-job trainings or my internships seriously. I have intensive skill-set on managerial works, task and people organization. My strengths aside from my writing skills would be working under pressure, multi-tasking, and connecting to a vast group of people. While, my weakness can be my tendency to take too many tasks all at the same time. With all of the mentioned, I am also knowledgeable of using certain computer applications like Microsoft Office, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Lightroom.
