Position: Stock controller/Dispatch cashier
Duties:
Ø To inspect all materials against standards and results communicated to stores manager, qcm and purchasing in case of non-conformance.
Ø Maintain and prepare the quality of the products to be dispatched.
Ø Ensure that all incoming and outgoing stock is controlled according to organizational procedures and that all appropriate paperwork is in place.
Ø Ensure that all program documentation related to warehousing or storage and those used in distributing items is properly filed and is in order
Ø Make proper arrangements for receiving and dispatching commodities
Ø Submit monthly stock reports to the programs department and/or designated program managers
Ø Ensure that regular stock reconciliation is carried out and any discrepancies are properly investigated and reported to management.
Ø Ensure that stocks are stored in appropriate conditions according to their specific requirements and that packhouse Assistants are briefed on this.
Ø Ensure that all incoming and outgoing stock targeted for beneficiary distributions and programme use are captured into the system according to the policies and procedures.
Ø Authorize and approve stock movements that have been captured.
Ø Ensure that stock and physical inventory are properly reconciled and are always balancing.
Ø Ensure SOPs and FIFO are used during handling of stock and during dispatch respectively.
Ø Updates the stock available to the sales.

POSITION: STOCK ACCOUNTANT / STOCK CONTROLLER
1. Organize and direct operations work flow and job responsibilities within the warehouse to ensure effective management of the receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading at acceptable KPI levels and shipping of products to customers.
2. Maintain records of inventory to ensure every stock is accounted, when being received, processed, dispatched or disposed.
3. Conduct inventory control through cyclical stock counts to maintain stock integrity and through this, to ensure that financial stock takes and stock counts are conducted according to client contracts and the company cyclical requirements. This would ensure that stock integrity is maintained in line with the Warehouse Management System.
4. Co-ordinate with internal customs department, where required, to ensure that customs clearance procedures are complied with and legal requirements are met.
5. Develop good relationship with customer to ensure high customer service levels are maintained at all times.
6. Manage the development of staff in the warehouse and ensure that the warehouse is staffed with the requisite numbers to maximize their capability and contribution.
7. Ensure that expected staff productivity standards are met and maintained within the agreed KPI’s.
8. Interacts with Warehouse Manager to review monthly KPI’s and act on areas of concern.
9. Ensures strict staff discipline in the areas of absenteeism, usage of uniform and protective clothing, shoes etc.
10. Monitor application of FIFO principles in the raw material and finished goods stores.
