MEPF In-Charge / Electrical Engineer

January 2018 to May 2019
– Currently designated as MEPF In-Charge / Electrical Engineer for the Robinsons Land Cyber Omega Project under Monocrete Construction Philippines Inc. Manages the coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing / Sanitary, Fire Protection, Elevators, Architectural and Structural works. Monitor, Manages and Supervision for installation of Temporary Power at Project Site.
- Estimate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing / Sanitary and Fire protections work items for costing for bidding and building permit.
- Review/studies MEPF For Construction Plans, Shop Drawings, Technical Specifications and Program of Work. Takes the lead in ensuring that all MEPF documents were properly distributed to all concerns.
- Manages the MEPF site implementation based on the latest approved drawings and in coordination with the Architectural and Structural Groups.
- Performs actual supervision of MEPF construction superintendent on their daily activities.
- Inspects all installation and assures smooth coordinated works with MEPF group prior to concrete pouring.
- Conduct and presiding Weekly Trade Contractor (MEPF) Coordination Meeting. Discusses conflicts and discrepancies on plans against actual site condition and give best solution to the problem.
- Validate design issues related to MEPF and suggest alternative solutions.
- Coordinates with Trade contractor’s Engineers for the shop drawing / plans for every floor to make a Composite Shop Drawing (CSD) per floor to check and discusses all conflicts on other Trades, Architectural, Structural and Interior Design, then facilitate problem-solving for necessary adjustments.
- Coordinates with Client’s MEPF Manager.
- Assists CM for the preparation of detailed construction and blocking system schedule of the project to be used for actual construction.
- Performs actual supervision and monitoring of work according to Standard Construction Methods and Standard Engineering Practice.
- Attending and participating Weekly Technical Meeting with client, architects, construction managers, consultant team and trade contractors. And presents MEPF and Elevator updates regarding site issues, progress report and other concerns as discussed at trade contractor coordination meeting.
- Assist in the receipt and review of MEPF and Elevator submittals.
- Log and post all MEPF and Elevator works changes and as-built information on field drawings.
- Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEPF and Elevator contractor to ensure and protect the architectural and structural work.
- Coordination and administration of MEPF and Elevator related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
- Liaison with Consultant MEPF supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.
Provide shop drawings, RFA, RFI and submittals for approval prior to installation of work item.
- Responsible in monitoring and supervising for temporary power supply used for the construction operations like Tower cranes, Placing Boom, Passenger hoists and other light / heavy equipments.
- Assists Inspector for 3rd party testing and conducts daily, weekly and monthly inspection of Tower cranes, Placing Boom and Passenger hoists with Operators to ensure the safety.
- Designs lighting and power layout for temporary power at offices, facilities, barracks, warehouses and building site perimeter and riser. And performs actual supervision for installation of lighting and power as per approved layout.
- Task to monitoring and updating the delivery, pullout and installation status of electrical items used for the construction operations.
- Task to check and estimate all possible electrical items to be used at operations to make a committed cost and purchase the items with attachment of plans / shop drawing.

- Worked as an assistant of Project Engineer for the Shangri-la The Fort Project. Responsible for the monitoring and documentation of imported and local equipments.

- Documentation of all approved equipments, PO, DR, equipment manual and determine the variations and change order against contract requirements.
