Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Management (Plans, Programs, Policies and Procedures)

1.1 Develops plan for effective detection and prevention programs against any crime in the store.

1.2 Regularly reviews existing store security/ safety programs, policies and other related procedures and make necessary amendments if required. NOTE: Facilitates the conduct of annual safety and security emergency preparedness drills (i.e. Fire Drill, Internal & External Theft Control, etc.)

1.3 Keeps and maintains a strong and effective plan of implementation of all the security and safety programs of the store, its surrounding and satellite warehouses.

1.4 Makes recommendations on store security, safety, & health programs, policies, systems and procedures to promote security, safety and health awareness so as to prevent crime and accidents from happening.

1.5 Submits promptly weekly reports to Security Area Supervisor

1.6 Inputs to drive the Bi-Monthly roster of guards and Daily Headcount per Store.

2. Command and Control

2.1Ensures complete security manpower of the store and its satellite bodega/s and closely coordinates with various security agencies to meet the company’s security personnel requirement.

2.2 Ensures ever ready utility and serviceability of all security equipment such as service revolvers, shotguns, ammos, metal detectors, flashlight, customer counters, etc..

2.3Regularly assess the performance of all security agencies every quarter.

2.4 Strictly monitors the attendance and performance of the Headguard and the blue guards.

2.5 Prepares working schedules including day-offs of his entire security team, and makes necessary adjustment to their schedule to maintain the normal flow of the operation. Reports promptly & regularly any changes.

3.2 Strictly enforce the safety, & health programs, policies, systems and procedures to promote safety and health awareness so as to prevent accidents from happening.

3.3 Supervise effectively all security workforce of the store branch by ensuring the observance of Loss Prevention by every employee and security personnel.

3.4 Investigates process and handles all security & safety violations committed against the lives and properties of the company.
