–          Performed phlebotomy on neonates, pediatrics and geriatrics.

–          Processed and verified specimen identification, acceptability and appropriateness of order according to written procedures.

–          Recognized and evaluated unusual or unreasonable results. Consulted with the manager/pathologist about abnormal findings, unusual combinations or difficult analyses.

–          Recorded results on worksheets and/or logbooks, verified that results are entered into the laboratory information system (LIS) correctly and reported stat and critical values according to protocol.

–          Performed daily quality control, calibration and maintenance of machines with proper documentation including daily QC plotting in Levey-Jennings chart.
