Good Day,
I am Mr. Sonny M. Navarro, 48 years of age and presently working as a Surface Safety Supervisor at Philex Mining Corporation, Tuba, Benguet, Philippines. I was emailed by a guest email that your company is in need of a Safety Protector. I had been a Surface Safety Supervisor for almost Sixteen years; this is one of the six job experiences I had been through.
As a Surface Safety Supervisor, my role is to conduct inspection/audit to various job sites looking for unsafe practices and conditions for corrective measures and processes my findings and observations on our company’s online computer database for timely and accurate document control. I conduct an investigation to Near-miss, Lost Time Accident/Incident, and Property Damages. I also conduct and co-ordinate orientations/training to new and/or returning workers.
I had vast years of Safety Practitioner experiences and having undergone my safety training such as Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH), Construction Occupational Safety & Health (COSH), Train the Trainer, First Aid, Accident/Incident Investigation, Emergency Preparedness, and all other Safety Training needed on my job. I had a Condition Monitoring technical knowledge on Mill and Mine equipment’s, and also had experienced construction job underground.
With my complex experience to deferent trade, I am a multi-task worker, knows how to drive, do welding and carpentry, library and encoding, condition monitoring on equipment’s, and computer management operation. I can get along with different people and willing to learn any skills I am tasked to accomplish.
I was also awarded three times Best Safety Inspector by Philex Mining Corporation, Certificate of Merit as Best Safety Inspector by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau.
