• Weekly full front to back reconciliation of the balance sheet for Risk management system MOR to GGL (for Zurich AG, London Branch, London Limited, Zurich Switzerland AG Singapore Branch and Hong Kong Branch
• Daily reconciliation of AVI accounts inclusive break clearance and advise of posting needs to the respective teams.

• Take-over of daily CP CD rec and learn how to identify and escalate breaks.

Role:
Investigation and Settlements:-

 Managing operations with reconciliation of Nostro/Vostro accounts for product such as SPOT, Forwards, Options and Money Market.
 Conducting investigation of:
o Outstanding items (related to FX) in the Nostro accounts and flagging them to the processors and ensures that the outstanding items are cleared.
o Periodical review of RWA (Risk weighted Assets) to ensure smooth functioning of business.
 Developing detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans and tracking outstanding items in Nostro accounts on the basis of currency, age and the department, etc.
 Administering the operations with foreign counterparts and prime brokerage clients in agreeing on the settlement and reconciling the same.
 Coordinating with internal clients, front office, middle and back office and internal departments.
 Categorizing UBS clients as low, medium and high risk based on their legal domicile and in accordance with the UBS Client Identification Program(CIP)
 Following standard background checks for all UBS clients through full-fledged web based research.
 Identifying the entity (Super fund, Trust, Individual, Company)
 Need to Run Standard background checks on the entity names.
 Making payments and sending all kinds of swifts required for FX.
 Preparing reports for the management review.
 Handled clients from APAC and EMEA regions.

Reconciliations:-

AVI Reconciliation:
 Reconciliation of internal accounts for products such as SPOT, Forwards, Options and Money Market to make sure the ledger balances are netting to zero.
 Reconciling balances between Middle Office application and back office applications, and coordinate with finance team and middle office for any discrepancies and act accordingly.
 We have total five rec offshored each rec is depended on the product of the trade. MM, Options and Cash for Zurich region, Options for London.
 AVI was offshored in 2015 and initially breaks were above 5,000, I have efficiently worked on the breaks and have done necessary investigations to resolve the breaks and the present count of total AVI is less than 100.
 I was successful in resolving all aged breaks and was awarded for the same.

CPNET:
 Reconciliation of netting accounts for products such as SPOT, Forwards, Options and Money Market to make sure the cash flows and netting entries are flown correctly.
 For any issues with sub ledgers, we will reach to internal teams and resolve them.

WM Reconciliation:
 Reconciliation between Clients application and UBS application for products such as SPOT, Forwards, Options and Money Market.
 While reconciling between these applications, all trade financials should match.
 For any discrepancy will reach to client’s accountant within UBS and sort out the discrepancies.

Notable Milestones:
 Efficiently managed the global foreign exchange business (Investigations) entailing payments, processing of MT 103 / MT202 / COVER SWIFT messages of the branch, verification and release of payments, transfer of funds to Nostro accounts, Sending Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI’s) to Correspondent Banks.
 Able to handle all sub process in a span of 2 years and have trained other team members.
 Efficiently managed the new project migrations with 100% accuracy and currently part of new project.
