· Analyze and implement changes on the planning parameter for each Material (Reordering Point, Fixed Order Quantity, Minimum Order Quantity, Minimum Packing Quantity, Lead-time and etc.)
Plans and recommends materials to be ordered and expedited from the supplier with the consideration of warehouse capacity, material lead time, material shelf life, material demand, material cost/budget, and supplier capacity.
· Reconcile discrepant purchase order contracts, invoices and deliveries with the supplier (quantity variance, price variance, contracts variance) before forwarding RFP (request for payment).

· Managed whole Liebert North America factory direct offices (FDO), demand, and supply distribution for cooling system units and spare parts to the whole North American site warehouses and factories. Analyze and Plans the inventory per FDO Warehouse location. Setting the Parameter per material for accurate MRP run(consideration of material logistics and transportation, material lead time, existing parts or newly develop spare parts, client demand based on common materials and seasonal materials, one time order item, cost, warehouse index and capacity)
Reports Monthly Inventory status for all the factory Sites (Inventory Amount, Inventory Turns Report, On – time Delivery of each Plant, Fill Rate).Recommends obsolete materials for modification, plant transfer, and return to vendor for refund (based on contract).
· Release forecast the Manufacturing plant and supplier for the preparation of the spare parts and finished units. Release of transfer order and purchase order to the manufacturing plant or supplier site. Expedite the deliveries based on lead-time, inventory status, and demand.
· Technically, managed the specification and ECN (Engineering Change Notice) through the agile CM and discussed to supplier for possible cost reduction and schedule of development to sustain the demand.

Achievement
· Had set and implement the Centralization of Inventory Management, ordering process and distribution of Spare parts for Liebert-Emerson Cooling systems spare parts within North American Region.
· Key performance indices improvement: On time delivery performance from 73% to 87% for 2 quarters (baseline: 85%), reduced inventory amount from 1.35MillionUSD to 950KUSD.
· Improves the fill rate for entire FDO site from 78% to 88% for 6 months of operation.
· Department start-up for materials and procurement under Emerson Network Division Philippines. Standardized process and procedures. Standardization of material codes through the process of BOM scrubbing and standardization.
Improve vendor performance rating from average of 76% to 86% within 6 months of operation (Baseline is 85%). Improvement on the on-time delivery performance by giving emphasis on lead time, vendor capacity, logistics and transportation. Perform root cause analysis, process mapping, gap analysis and benchmarking on the improvement.
Purchasing Staff

· Prepare shortage plan (Daily, weekly & Monthly)and resolve material shortages. Coordinates Critical material shortages to the superiors.
· Issue PO base on forecast and production (ERP calculation).

· Monitors and Supervise EOL (end of life) models and release forecast to all the concerned department and vendor to minimize the cost of excess materials.

Achievement
· Was a member of the core group for Plant Start-up to set-up the Purchasing and warehousing operation for Samsung Electronics Philippines. Process and Procedures Standardization. EDI set-up to suppliers and implementation.
· Set-up the Development Procurement section for Samsung Philippines. Standardization of process and procedure for and evaluation of materials with the coordination of Quality Engineer, R&D Engineer and Production Engineer. The new group was designed to support global sourcing for new product development Sourcing team and alternative sourcing (2nd sourcing).
· Performed Six Sigma Project to reduced lead time from 8 to 2days and reduced cost was approximately 200Thousand USD per annum and awarded as a Silver Awardee for Six Sigma.
· Reduced Raw material cost for Electronic Parts (PCB, Connectors, Cables, capacitor, Inductor), Packaging parts, resin and metal stamp product equivalent to a minimum of 900KUSDper annum (start at 2004). Performed Vendor Management Inventory (VMI),JIT (Just-In-Time), Kanban, Process Mapping, Benchmarking, ESI (Early suppliers Involvement),route cause analysis, and Value Engineering to reduce cost.
