PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
NATIONAL OUTBOUND ADMINISTRATOR DACHSER LOGISTICS Mar 2019 to Sep 2019
Employed within the outbound/Export department of and responsible for the planning of transport, creating of workspace for different priority freight, allocating of freight to warehouse locations and monitoring the shipment of the goods in a cost effective way to various destinations across Europe.

SUPPLY CHAIN/LOGISTICS SPECIALIST BRITISH ARMY 2013 – 2018
Employed within the logistics branch of the British Army. Wide-ranging experience covering a variety of supply chain activities and has allowed proven experience including customer service, stock control, goods in, goods out, recruitment, training, disciplinary and staffing issues. Most recent role comprises:
▪ Supervision of a team responsible for the receipt, scanning, demands and issues, storage, rotation and auditing across a large inventory (150,000 stock) at a value of £5 Million and comprising perishable foodstuffs, explosives, automotive parts, clothing and equipment.
▪ Liaison with both defence organisations and commercial partners (e.g. DHL, XPO Logistics) tracking and delivering items locally and internationally within priority-graded deadlines.
▪ Using bespoke Oracle-based inventory and tracking systems for monitoring allocation, stock levels, storage space, transportation, delivery schedules etc.
▪ Accountable for the warehouse security arrangements and for ensuring that Health & Safety regulations and instructions are adhered to e.g. stock is stored safely, vehicles are loaded correctly, staff trained on the correct operation of mechanical handling equipment and other storage aids. Scheduling the maintenance, repair and replacement of equipment.
▪ Directly responsible to the senior team for ensuring productivity is maintained, KPIs and other targets are achieved, the stock file is accurate and all anomalies thoroughly investigated and reported.
▪ Confident in putting forward suggestions for improving or streamlining processes to increase efficiency and implementing approved ideas. Timely escalation of issues to management, often with solutions, that could impact on the reputation of the organisation or performance of the team.
▪ A qualified and experienced driver holding a LGV Category C+E license, provided safe and skilled driving in a variety of terrains and locations. Can drive, operate and maintain large transporters and refuelling vehicles and handle hazardous substances, with an understanding of safe loading and restraint methods.
