·        Head of Special Revenue Projects–Corporate and Business Markets (Jan 2004–Mar 2005). Managed various infrastructure-building activities such as the Barangay Reading Rooms Project and Internet Café’ Alliances project. Projects were maximum-revenue, low capital expenditure types.

·        Head, Business Development and Alliances – Corporate and Business Markets (Sept. 2003 – Dec. 2003). Managed and negotiated for various business alliances with several business entities and public telecommunications entities; projects were of the short-term, promotional alliance types.

·        Head, Business Development- Carrier and Wholesale Markets (Mar. 2003 – Aug. 2003). Worked with public telecommunications entities and entered into business agreements with them, over and on top of existing partnerships. An example of the projects managed and completed during this term is the “PAPTELCO INTERNET DEVELOPMENT PROJECT”.

·        Manager, Product Assurance and Implementation (Aug 2002–Mar 2003). Managed several infrastructure-building activities of Bayantel; administered the BayanTel Virtual Private Network (VPN) project and monitored and reported to top management performances of various business units of BayanTel using the Balanced Score Card methodology.

·        Manager, New Products Development (Feb 2002–Aug 2002). Tasked to create, propose to top management, and project-manage the implementation of several revenue-generating services such as the BayanTel Data Center and the Massively Multi-Role Player Game (MMORPG) “Tantra” which was created and implemented jointly with ABS-CBN Interactive.

·        Product Manager, Digital Subscriber Line (Mar 2001–Apr 2002). Tasked to create BayanTel’s Digital Subscriber Line Internet product and thus initiated the development of the product, brand and product packages and project-managed the implementation of the DSL infrastructure. This product is still currently in the market today, further appended to and enhanced by succeeding Product Managers.

·        Datacoms Manager, Applications Solutions Group (Oct 2000–Feb 2001). Served as a Technical Support Manager serving the various data clients of the company. Tasks also included the design and implementation of client-side infrastructure that would interface seamlessly with the BayanTel Data network.

 

Reserve 1LT, (INAC), Armed Forces of the Philippines – Philippine Army, Aug 2003-Present. The undersigned is a commissioned officer in the Reserve Force of the Philippine Army with Serial No. 0-136553; graduated from Advanced ROTC and the P2LT Training Course and applied for commission under AFP Circular No. 30, taking advantage of his Engineering degree and license to gain a higher initial rank. ·        Product Manager – Corporate Communications (Feb 2000–Oct 2000). Tasked with the management and development of the various Corporate Communications products of PT&T which included international and National Local Calling bundles and data transport products.

·        Manager, Inter-Carrier Affairs (July 1999 –Oct 2000). Tasked to develop the interconnection agreements and project manage the implementation, performance analysis and expansion of Inter-Carrier Interconnection Facilities; and negotiated and addressed issues with other private telecommunications entities.

·        Manager, Private Lines Installation Carrier Relations Coordinator (Sept 1997–June 1999). Tasked to overhaul the processes employed in the installation of private lines (for both data and voice) and managed multiple simultaneous installations. During this assignment reduced the installation backlog from 412 to 73 uninstalled lines which was the result of the Private Lines Projects Database which the undersigned developed written in MS Visual Basic and supported by MS Access.

Conceived, studied and implemented various Value-Added Services to be attached to Islacom’s IGF service which included Country-Direct Dialing, Store and Forward Facsimile service and Internet Provision service.

·        Systems Engineer, Office of the Division President for Fixed Lines Networks (Apr 1995–Dec 1995). Assisted in the formulation of strategic directions for the creation of Islacom’s Landlines and Long-Distance Calling networks.

Designed and implemented, together with a team of Engineers, Islacom’s Fixed Line Network which included Cable Route Selection, Service points selection and preparation of documents and specifications for prospective suppliers, contractors and the National Telecommunications Commission.
