§  Borrow pit investigation for soil suitability in accordance with British standard code of practice BS:5930, using electric/hand auger, cone penetrometer, standard penetrometer , Plate Bearing test to determine the insitu bearing capacity of the soil. Carry out test in the laboratory to include; sieve analysis of soil, liquid limit of material, soil compaction to determine the bulk density, moisture content, Bearing capacity(CBR).
