MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Repair and maintain diesel & patrol engines, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices, using hand tools, power machines, instruments and automotive tools.
2. Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in all type of vehicles.
3. Replacing and reconditioning of parts when unavailable, such as pistons, bearings, engines, gears, valves, suspensions and bushings, removing engine assemblies, steering mechanisms and other components of all types of vehicles
4. Overhaul all types of engines, sleeve bores, and commission test engines after repairs
5. Checking parts, repairing and replacing damaged and worn parts, performing routine and scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, transmissions (ATF/CVT), and tune-ups, reassembling engines and parts after repairs.
6. Test run all vehicles and supervise junior/ subordinates in the garage;
7. Report all duties, orders, open and close garage
8. Train junior mechanics and supervise all works carried out by them.
