I have performed several roles in the past working within the Reservations Department at Monomotapa Hotel. These roles include dealing with guests over the phone; walk in and on emails; achieving sales targets, maintaining good relationship between the company and the customer; taking and inputting reservations; negotiating rates with the guest; up-selling rooms to the guest; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to remain calm, patient and polite if receiving customer feedback.
Also, during my contract at Air Namibia I was able to provide services to passengers such as making a booking, responding to guests’ inquiries, assisting staff passengers, identifying those guests with special needs so that they go to the relevant check in counter and oversee that the entire check in process is done swiftly. I also did flight ticket reconciliation at the boarding gate and head counting of the passengers to ensure that all passengers are on board.
I love working in a customer oriented environment and feel that I have got excellent communication skills and I am a confident communicator who has the ability to speak well and explain services and products to passengers.
I have looked into your company and products and feel that I could learn these quickly in order to do a good role. I also have experience as a Reservationist dealing with different clientele, attending to customer’s inquiries, answering phones and sending emails to customers.
