General Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

Ø  Comprehensive Care Centre management and administration.

Ø  Commodity management & logistics management Information system(LMIS) Support in the County.

Ø  Interpreting prescriptions, dispensing them and, provide patient instructions and advice on medication use, adverse drug reactions and rational drug use

Ø  Receiving & issuance of ARV drugs orders and OIs from satellite sites reporting to the County Central site facility

Ø  Ordering & receiving supplies of drugs and other commodities from suppliers for the Central ART drugs Stores for the County.

Ø  Reporting on cases of adverse drug reactions to the responsible authorities

Ø  Liaising with the comprehensive care centre management team regarding issues affecting our clinic and strengthening coordination and integration of services for quality service delivery

Ø  Training, supervising and mentoring students on attachment/internship majorly on issues regarding Care & treatment of people living with HIV and AIDS in relation to the pharmacy (medication adherence and counselling) &ART commodity management.

Ø  Compiling county ARVs monthly reports and requests for the County ART drug store in support of ensuring scale-up and consistency in improving service delivery to clients.

Ø  Overseeing and coordinating all pharmacy activities in the ART Pharmacy and the county to ensure its smooth operations in regard to quality and effective service provision.

Ø  Participate in the active decision making in the CCC facility  Adherence multidisciplinary  team
