CAREER OBJECTIVE
To become a health advocate and consultant who will provide evidenced based solutions to health needs of people on both local and international platform. To provide effective and efficient quality health care to the best of my ability and make a difference wherever I find myself in my profession.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
AUGUST 2019 TO PRESENT: West End Hospital
Responsibilities include: General management of ward, administering medications, checking vital health signs, counselling of patients, report writing, admission and discharge of patients, health education and performing ward rounds.
MAY 2019: Global Brigade Organisation Ghana
Responsibilities include: Undertake airport pick up and drop off for assigned group, ensure safety of volunteers, provide education and support for all volunteers and staff to comply with all Brigade-related rules and policies. Constant communication with other GBO staff and volunteers. Collect data before, during and after Brigades. Nursing the sick and supervision of Brigade staff (drivers and technicians).
NATIONAL SERVICE
(2018-2019)
Mercy Women’s Catholic Hospital, Mankessim.
Responsibilities include: Bed making, health education, antenatal and postnatal care, monitoring and recording of vital health signs. Performing delivery and giving neonatal care,
History taking and physical assessment of patient, ward rounds, performing visual acuity test, admission and discharge of patient, passing nasogastric tube, insertion and removal of catheter, immunization of babies and community outreach.
Preparing patient for surgery, wound dressing, decontamination and sterilization, scrubbing in, circulatory nurse, handing over and taking up and clinical meeting. Documentation and report writing.
Administration of medication (intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous, oral, rectal).
June-August 2018: Psychiatric Nursing, Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital, Cape Coast. Responsibilities include: History taking and mental state assessment, health talk, school health, case conference, group therapy and recreational therapy.
Assisted patients in performing activities of daily living and serving prescribed treatment.

June 2016: Public health nursing at Tafo Government Hospital, Kumasi
Responsibilities include: Home visit, antenatal care, counselling on family planning methods, growth monitoring of babies, health education and promotion, immunization and community outreach.
February – March 2016: Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinical practice at Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Pampaso – Kumasi
Responsibilities include: Examination of a new born, decontamination and bagging of delivery set.
Monitoring labour using a patograph, assisting in delivery, administering of intramuscular Vitamin K to newborns.
Participating in antenatal and postnatal care. Report writing and assessment of pregnant women (fundal height, presentation and monitoring blood pressure).

Responsibilities include: Care and removal of urinary catheter (male and female), monitoring vital signs, checking random and fasting blood sugar, sending patient to the radiology department for scan and x-rays when requested. Observed and assisted in the following procedures: cardiopulmonary resuscitation, management of severe burns, management of shock and triaging of patients.
