Position: Group Leader Operations Bodyworks

·         Coordinating large groups of supervisors to achieve production objective on time with safety, quality and low cost avoiding generating scrap.

·         Performing trouble shooting using different tools presenting reports to the relevant department and general plant.

·         MO Re-engineering (Operational Maintenance) for bodyworks.

·         I Carried out the improvements eliminating the bodyworks scrap in different areas.

·         I Improved quality indicators (DRR, DRL, Care) of bodyworks and  general plants.

·         I Implemented improvements to existing shop systems (MO, Error Proofing, Back up of manual equipment).

·         I implemented a union of dimensional product in the final line with great results that directly impacted the quality indicators.

·         I Carried out restructuring of bodyworks safety creating the mixed safety commission that was later implemented throughout the complex.

·         I created adjustment manuals for doors, chests and dashboards in the final line area

·         I realized kaizen improvements to productive areas.

·         I Coordinated LGT´s Bodyworks activities in Final Line.

·         I Coordinated the Bodyworks Safety Committee meetings to reduce the number of accidents.

 

Position: Process Engineer

·         I realized improvements in the automatic processes of the tapping areas with great improvements in cycle time, fault reduction.

·         Attending internal and external audits of torques and welding.

·         I solve product quality problems using different tools.

I realized process improvements metal finishing and miscellaneous area avoiding unnecessary costs in the process, making rebalancing workloads, relocating equipment.

·         I Performed AMEF´s design and process, to detect potential failures using multidisciplinary teams.

·         I realized critical stations control plans.

·         I was the bodywork area super bucket leader controlling the key features of the product such as openings and furring, wind noise, effort doors.

·         Extensive knowledge of production processes such as resistance welding, appearance of the finished product.

·         I Coordinated the  PTR`s Bodyworks implementation.

·         High knowledge of the GMS system

·         GMS Internal Bodyworks Instructor.

 

Position: Bodywork Quality Group Leader.

ISO Auditor (Certificate) and Internal Instructor.
·         Attending internal and external ISO audits for bodywork area.

·         Metrology area responsible, Welding Quality and Appearance Quality.

·         I Coordinated bodywork area dimensional activities, variation reduction.

·         I Solve complex problems using Red X tools, Seven diamonds, etc.

·         I Coordinated multidisciplinary teams to solve dimensional problems and finished product.

·         I Coordinated work meetings with different bodyworks suppliers.

·         External problems solution under guaranty.

 

Position: General Assembly coordinator for operations and sequencing at San Luis Potosí Plant.

·         Coordinating supervisors’ groups to achieve production target with safety, quality, time and low-cost avoiding scrap generation.

·         Performing troubleshooting using the different tools.

·         I was part of the General Assembly third crew at San Luis Potosí plant.

·         I carried out the GA Scrap elimination improvements in different areas.

·         I improved the general Assembly and general plant quality indicators (DRR, DRL, Care).

·         Implementing sequencing project material.

·         The impact time to the line was reduced considerably by material sequencing.

·         Implementation of Sequencing impact board with Penske.

·         Improvements were made to the sequenced Kit Cars avoiding loss of material.

·         I realized kaizen improvements to productive areas.

·         QFC initiative is implemented by sequencing to avoid electrical problems.

·         I coordinated the Body Safety Committee meetings to reduce the number of accidents.

·         Implementation of systems to improve processes obtaining great results in quality and fast response.
