Provides data entry and word processing service for senior departmental staff.
Implementation, maintenance and supervision of efficient office systems and filing systems to enable easy retrieval and ensure security of information.
Prepares correspondence as directed by Head of CHS Nursing Dept.
To answer the telephone calls promptly and courteously, taking and relaying accurate and complete messages.
Maintains the confidentiality of all documents of the CHS Nursing Dept.
Answers telephone enquiries, makes appointments, screens and processes visitors to the Head of CHS Nursing Dept. and other senior nursing staff.
Doing book binding for competency, student’s guide manual and also laminating.
Prepares requisitions for supplies to ensure smooth function of the department if the secretary is on vacation leave.
Collect the nursing student’s weekly attendance reports to send it to CHS Registration office & instructor’s weekly attendance reports from level coordinators to submit in CHS Academic Affairs if the secretary is on vacation leave.
Performs other duties as directed by Head of CHS Nursing Dept.
Portering work like sending the outgoing correspondence that address to other departments and all urgent outgoing memos for CHS.
