Factory Manager

Reporting to the company general manager, and managing around 150 employees, I am fully responsible for day-to-day activities of the operation. The operations covers, productions’ line, quality, costing, ware-housing (finished as well as raw materials), cold stores, purchasing, maintenance and spare-parts.

Responsibilities are:

Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

Duties and Responsibilities
Planning production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintaining product quality and budgets.
Planning, formulating, organizing, controlling, and directing production activities.
Ensuring that the product effectively satisfies the quality level ordered by the client.
Ensuring the effectual adopting of new programs and policies and providing training in order to meet improved requirements ordered by clients.

responsible for the inventory of goods so has to communicate with the operations department on how much goods must be produced.
look for this that overflows of goods in the market is avoided
do the research and has to do the proper studies and evaluations continuously to avoid wastage.
