DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·        Receives food ingredients and supplies from main kitchen and pantry required for daily operation.

·        Reviews production schedule to determine food requirements including varieties

and quantities of food for preparation and assemble supplies and equipments needed for daily cooking activities.

·        Seasons and prepare a wide variety of food such as vegetables, fruits, meats, salads, and cereals in accordance with prescribed recipes.

·        Tastes foods being cooked for quality.

·        Maintains cleanliness of the work areas, utensils, and equipments.

·        Attends to day-to-day problem and needs concerning equipments and food supplies; detect and ensure disposition of spoiled or unattractive food, defective supplies/equipment and other unusual conditions.

·        Prepares special diets according to prescribed standards

·        Participating in food preparation in accordance with accepted standards of quality

·        Ensure the overall cleanliness and the health and safety aspects of the kitchen are maintained at all times.
