PROFILE:

A development professional with over three years cognate experience in monitoring and evaluation of programs and customer service representative. An M.Sc. holder in Mathematics and Its Applications and B.Sc. in Physics. I have contributed immensely in the development and implementation of the Routine Immunization (RI) district health information system (DHIS) module for Nigeria. Job Responsibilities

·         I provided technical support to the evaluation of the Nigeria Health Information System for RI reporting in 12 states of Nigeria, developing data collection tools, workplans and training of Government M&E officers

·         I develop the national monthly RI performance feedback for the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), which is used by the National Emergency RI Coordination Centre (NERICC) and the department for Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS) for effective decision making.

·         I coordinate and support state level DHIS2 implementation officers by ensuring data generated and reported are properly analyzed to facilitate data-driven decision

·         I conduct regular desk review, track progress towards project indicators and provide structured feedback with intensive follow up for improvement

·         Support the design of data collection tools, reporting database using excel, QGIS, ODK, other statistical software and provide regular feedbacks on EPI to all stakeholders especially the government of Nigeria

·         Facilitated the in-class training and supervised the field activities in Nigeria of RI-RMNCH PAPA; which involves moving from one household to another taking statistics of children immunized and educating people on health benefit

·         I support the training of Malaria Dashboard and Data Management for State and LGA officers in Kano and Zamfara states focusing on DHIS2

·         I mentor and train national/state officers on the development of workplans, project report writing and data analysis

·         Support continuous data quality improvement, analysis and use of data to inform/facilitate data-driven decision making. Supported the development of Nigeria Data Demand and Use (DDU) guideline (2020)

·         Support planning, implementation, supportive supervision of RI in terms of report generation, data quality and use of data using the DHIS2 system across the 36 states plus FCT in Nigeria

·         Conduct follow up with EPI teams at state and LGA levels to ensure that quality data reporting is optimal on all electronic platforms
