WORK HISTORY

07/2018 – Present    Education and Youth Engagement Team Leader

Danish Refugee Council (DRC), Shire Field office, Tigray, Ethiopia

·        Advocate on behalf of vulnerable displaced persons to access education, legal aid service and awareness sessions on migration risks and opportunities and strengthen community lead solution.

·        Coordinate and facilitate trainings for humanitarian partners, local authorities and displaced community leaders.

·        Mange the inter-Agency referral to and from DRC in Shire field operation.

·        Lead on Education programme strategy and project proposals in Ethiopia, in line with DRC programme policy and global strategic priorities.

·        Lead an Education assessments and contribute to evidence-based programming.

·        Manage and implement delegated portfolio of legal aid service projects (activities, budget and project documentation in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements, and ensure high technical quality of implementation).
