After completing my trade certificate in Diesel Mechanics, I worked at Rham Equipment as a field service technician for 7 years. Rham Equipment is renowned for testing and repairing mechanical faults on various heavy-duty machinery for the mining industry in South Africa. I have extensive knowledge in the field of vehicle mechanics, as well as the pumps used underground. At Rham Equipment I was not only hands on responsible for the mechanical workings of the machines, but also the maintenance schedule to keep production at its peak. I am able to quickly detect all mechanical errors that need to be rectified and ensure that the machinery is up to the OEM specifications.

Since 2010 I have been employed by two companies, CI Hydro Mining as well as AQS Liquid Transfer. At CI Hydro Mining I am responsible for the workshop running efficiently, and the mechanical maintenance of various pumps. Pumps from various mines, agricultural sectors and industries are sent to the CI Hydro Mining’s workshop where I would repair and perform corrective maintenance as needed on the pump.

My role at AQS is as a sales representative, I frequently visit mines, agricultural sectors and industries as a consultant and sales representative for AQS.
