I am passionate ,emphatic and strategic thinker professional and have been working with different INGOs,UN agencies as well as GoE institutions in Ethiopia with strong health background as registered/licensed Senior Nurse and Sociologist with ample humanitarian programs related with health,nutrition,WASH, food security and livelihood assistance management skill and proven experience in emergency preparedness and response programs mainly focusing on partnership and technical assistance , coordination, capacity building/administration , representation and liaison expertise maintained while serving with UN Agencies(like IOM and UN-WFP), INGOs(SCI,IRC,GOAL & CARE) and donors with good knowledge of protection plus health/GBV/SRHR cluster coordination management approach coupled with advanced project planning and management, field monitoring/analysis, information management and humanitarian reporting accompanied with staffs /resources as well as assets management and evaluation skills at large.
I should say, I am passionate, enthusiastic and energetic humanitarian professional with demonstrable management and coordination capabilities to work with multicultural as well as bilateral team as a sociologist to curve multifaceted health plus protection concerns and challenges of the community, IDPs, refugees and migrants by executing an effective and fit-for -purpose project responses to achieve sustainable solutions for affected populations due to natural disaster or man-made crises in various regions of Ethiopia for the last more than 14 years.
Employment History
From December 2018 to December 31,2019 (1 Year and 1 Month)
UN – Migration Agency – IOM, Emergency Post Crisis – Site Management Support (CCCM) as Senior Project Assistant in Emergency Post Crist (EPC) unit Dilla, IOM SLO Ethiopia for Gedeo -West Guji IDP’s response programme funded by ECHO, USAID, EHF, Germany,Japan and Italian donors.
· Lead and support field level team & ensure timely, credible, transparent & efficient implementation of SMS project activities of mobile health ,nutrition and MHPSS team,WASH,NFI/Shelter team and all other working in various humanitarian assistance sectors through provision of technical supervision, teamwork, clear communication, applying lessons from best practices & creation of sense of ownership among all staff at field level & internally displaced persons (IDPs) at large.
· In coordination with the Head of Sub-Office and in close consultation with country office teams , liaise with project partners for timely implementation, coordinated manner of activities, efficient use of resources and logistics thereby identify & contribute to sub-office updates on emerging humanitarian issues, challenges and gaps relating to SMS/CCCM and EPC areas of intervention.

UN – WFP, as Coordinator – Biometrics Project in Gambella and Assosa, Ethiopia in a protracted refugee rehabilitation operation (PRRO) funded by DFID, ECHO and USAID.
• Designed Planed, Coordinated, and Monitored and evaluated over all refugee operation activities of UN -WFP in the region.
• Provided and technically assisted and liaison overall coordination and management of UN-WFP refugee operations in Gambella/Assosa Refugee Operations with special focus on cash combined food assistance.
• Technically support UN- WFP and UNHCR on smooth operation of biometrics verification and cash combined food distribution project implementation, monitoring and reporting.
• Provided technical assistance in Cash &Food, Health, Nutrition and overall Protracted Relief & Rehabilitation Operation (PRRO) in refugee camps and regional level.
• Maintained partnership, liaised and coordinated between UN – WFP, IOM, DPPB, UNHCR and ARRA at regional, zonal, refugee camps, distribution sites refugee operation implementation found in Gambella as well as Benishangul/Assosa regions.
