RESPONSIBILITIES.
. As part of my responsibility I coordinate workers’ schedules, directly or by delegation, ensure each person completes their work in the correct order for the project to progress efficiently. I ensure the enforcement of safety rules and make sure all workers have the right tools, equipment and materials to get the job done correctly. Often, I interface with trade professionals, such as surveyors, architects, iron benders/rebar workers, masons and carpenters, and regulatory officials such as government agencies and lawyers, in obtaining the necessary permits and required variances and manage the details for several projects at once. I also Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time/schedule frame and budget/funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepare project reports for management, client, or others. Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
My recommendations have saved the company in a particular instance 15% of the contract sum. I have represented the company in different conferences and seminars on commercial and industrial building. I have also done presentations that has earned the company different contract; among are the construction of the multipurpose laboratories for Amni international petroleum company limited in different locations as their corporate social responsibility worth over one hundred and fifty millions, also the award of the construction of the secretariat of Assemblies of God, ikwerre central district and minister’s residents, was gotten out of my presentation among others.
