Yacht stewardess
The comfort is the key to happiness on a yacht and it is the job of the stewardess to make sure that the guests are taken care of in an unobtrusive and professional manner. They are responsible for serving meals and drinks at all times of the day; they are also responsible for maintaining guest areas, including staterooms and cabins. Finally they are responsible for being ready to meet the needs of the guests. Smile and greet are the most important thing to make the guests they are welcome onboard. As a stewardess, we have two major duties and responsibilities on board: Housekeeping and Hospitality. Housekeeping should have the knowledge in laundry service and removal of stains, bed set up and designated linens for each state room, flower arrangements, toiletries for the staterooms and knowledge in cleaning silver wares, china wares and crystals. Hospitality service includes various serving styles (English service, Butler service, Russian or classic French service), knowledge about drinks, wines, liquors, different cigars and tobacco. Lastly, Stewardess will also be working closely with the Chief Stewardess, deckhands and the First/Second Officers. It is one of their responsibilities to look for and report defective equipment and safety hazards. Because the Stewardess frequents every guest area that is seldom travelled by deckhands, this is a very important task. A difficult to open door in a lower guest cabin can become a death trap in an emergency and it is a problem a deckhand would probably never notice.

Room service attendant/Cabin stewardess
Reports, directly to the Room Service Manager/Supervisor. Deliver food and beverage orders to passengers’ staterooms in a professional and courteous manner according to the standards set by the cruise line. He/she Follows the cruise line guidelines regarding uniforms and personal hygiene and ensures that cleaning and sanitizing of his/ her assigned area is always up to the standards of the cruise line and according to the USPH and/UKPH regulations. We like to participate in courses, meetings and training programs in order to develop the necessary skills needed for promotion to superior level position. Ensures that he/ she enters’ food and beverage orders into the ship’s point of sale system.
