A strategic role involves reviewing sales and inventory reports and reacting in a logical manner by placing and expediting materials to avoid shortages and excess inventory. The Inventory Analyst review forecast accuracy for any unusual requirements generated and follows up with the Centerline forecast planning team to do the adjustments in forecast. The Inventory Analyst must maintain optimal inventory level on stock movement class and Lead Time to keep the fill rate up to the target fill rate.
