Summary of Experience  

• Having more than 23 years’ experience in EPC projects (on shore) for oil and gas, LNG plant, refinery (19 years in Civil Department and 4 years in Project Management Team)  as Principal Civil Engineer continue to Principal Project Engineer/Engineering Manager starting from basic design (FEED), detail design (Engineering) and construction or field assignments. The projects characteristic is starting from green field projects, brown field up to modification of existing plant.

Project Management Roles (Engineering Manager/Principal Project Engineer):

• Overall responsibility for the engineering of the project and will report to the Project Manager.
• As the vocal point on technical issues and will have the authority on behalf of the Project Manager to resolve specific technical questions that occur during the development of the design with the COMPANY’s technical representative.
• Responsible for the coordination of all engineering design discipline activities, and include the following:
  – Approving all design control and discipline design procedures, and monitoring their proper implementation.
  – Assuring uniformity of design practices and standards throughout the project.
  – Providing the main technical interface with Procurement, Construction, and field organizations.

Civil Engineering Design Roles:

• Coordinated and managed the activity of civil engineering team and/or engineering subcontractors for LSTK contract projects.
• Prepared project execution plan, civil deliverable list, schedule, manpower planning and scope of work for subcontractor.
• Prepared, reviewed and approved the project specifications, design basis, estimating of risk analysis, material requisitions and bill of quantity.
• Prepared, reviewed and approved of technical clarification for the selection of materials, vendors and subcontractors.
• Reviewed and approved for report of soil investigation works and topographic map survey.
• Prepared, reviewed and approved calculations and drawings of steel structures (pipe racks, pipe stanchions, equipment structures, shelters, warehouses, and platforms), Pre-engineering buildings prepared by vendors, concrete structures (equipment/pump foundations, structure foundations, tank foundations, blast resistance buildings, pre-cast and pre-stressed concrete for marine structures) and underground composite design for sewer system, drainages, duct banks, culverts, road and paving.
• Reviewed and approved calculations and drawings of onshore pipeline facilities related to civil aspect including preparation of alignment sheets, slope protection, pipeline stability analysis for river crossing, road and rail crossing and inspection road.
• Responsible to assure the quality of engineering product will comply with the specifications and requirements, budget and schedule.
• Assisting cost control to reviewed proposal from the candidate of subcontractor.
• Assisting civil department manager to developed the design manuals for civil and structure including preparation of the training materials for junior civil and structural engineers.

Construction and Field Engineering

• Coordinated and managed the execution woks and schedule for civil subcontractor works and steel fabricators productivity.
• Reviewed construction method and sequence prepared by civil subcontractor.
• Prepared the construction site procedure to ensure the work quality will comply with safety health and environment regulation, specifications, budget, and schedule.
• Problem solving for construction error, construct-ability and engineering design mistake.
• Coordination with design engineering team to ensure that all of the drawings and documents for construction are the latest revision.
• Prepared technical close out report at the end of project and lesson learn for next project.
• Assisting construction department to developed scope of works for subcontractors and technical clarification to determine the candidate of subcontractors, technical supports due to queries from client and subcontractors and material approval selection proposed by subcontractor.
