I have enclosed for you a copy of my curriculum vitae for your further consideration and hope that you will find my qualifications and my surgery ward / SICU experience in Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center and to the different hospitals that I had been through appropriate for what you feel will enhanced your esteemed hospital.

I gained my formal education and degree in Nursing at LORMA College and have been working at  Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center as a Nurse 1 for 2 years and 4 months . I had been a surgical ICU nurse for quite sometimes before who is responsible in caring patients with acute, life threatening or potentially life-threatening surgical conditions. My duties and responsibilities were providing accurate assessment and monitoring of patient’s progress, checking all infusions as well as equipments of the patient together with the outgoing nurse, coordinating patient care working closely with the healthcare team, making documents about the assessment as well as the patient’s Glasgow coma scale wherein monitoring the patient on regular basis and administering medications wherein infection control is practiced. Other duties like suctioning secretions, performing ECG as required and dealing with families and visitors with regards to the condition of the patient as well as providing health teaching to them. Moreover from these working under the Surgery Department, I worked as a Surgery ward nurse wherein I provide direct care to the assigned patients. My duties and my responsibilities are: performing admission, discharge and transfer patients to other ward as well as assisting others with patient’s activities and care. Executing physicians’ orders for all assigned patients, safely and properly administer medications and treatments, notifying appropriate nursing and medical staff to changes in patients’ status, performing ECG as required and aseptically perform IV insertion, taking vital signs, documenting nursing care and providing basic bedside care for Pre and Post surgical patients are also my duties and responsibilities. Educating client to promote and maintain health according to clients’ need and as well as health education to watchers.

I believed that my experience in Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center for 2 years and 4 months as a Nurse 1 and also from the different hospitals that I had been through allowed me to attain a foundation of skills necessary in your good institution where I obtained various range of nursing skills on the job while developing critical thinking skills. I had also received Certificate of Recognition for exceptional performance and demonstration of competency and capacity in the execution of my work for calendar year 2016 from ITRMC. Furthermore, I have learned how to deal with multitasking jobs in the hospital environment, became more responsible, able to meet deadlines and able to work in long hours in the ward. I am very interested to apply to your esteemed institution because I would like to enhance more, be better able to utilize my nursing skills and abilities and be able to help many people in terms of their health.
