Key responsibility Areas as Junior Manager

Customer Demand planning and Distribution

• Interface with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain information necessary for the forecasting process to prepare demand data and conduct detailed statistical analysis for providing demand forecast accuracy
• Responsible for overall demand forecasting/planning and inventory management
• Develop, implement and maintain proper order flow quantities to support sales, inventory, and profitability. This includes the continuous evaluation, review and optimization of inventory and service levels
• Timely communication regarding inventory levels and key performance indicators to keep organization informed of inventory issues and supply chain performance
• Plan, initiate and monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely receipt and inventory of all products to meet cycle time and inventory stocking requirements
• Responsible for the development of production plan that drives production to achieve annual financial objectives including regular business, New product launches and promotions

• Forecasting – Derive SKU level forecasts by appropriate maintenance of demand history, Continuous engagement with the Sales teams to take care possible demand fluctuations
• Reduction in non-moving inventory by pro-active demand corrections, information flow and effective liquidation push
• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering
• Data analysis and reporting of Supply Chain – MIS reports

Availability – To ensure availability of raw material across branches for any demand that gets generated
Buffer management – To maintain and revise buffers of active SKUs

New product development

• Planning of Raw material availability for New Product Introductions (NPIs) and for Product Phase outs
• Coordinate with Sale, Marketing, Quality and Factory production team to develop new product as per requirements

Production Management – Prepare monthly plans and Providing the manufacturing floor with a daily production plan consistent with the plant capacity. Monthly Production planning and Sequencing of manufactured FG by assimilating forecasts from branches as per their monthly ABP (Annual Business Plan) targets

Inventory Management and Reporting – Own Production Plan Conformance reporting and playing a major role in improving OTIF (On Time, in Full), Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and liquidation of Non Moving Inventory/ Ageing stocks if any. Ensure that sufficient stock remain available at least cost, and keep track of stock inward , outward. Maintain customer service levels and create loss tree analysis for CCFOT losses. Identify and mitigate out of stock risks on a weekly basis.

Escalation /Issue /Complaints Management – Responsible for issue/escalation and Complaints received from customer, and ensure timely response and resolution of the concerns, issues, and complaints. Additionally, responsible for improving processes to minimize the escalations, and complaints and keep the numbers within target. Manage re-launches and delisting with Customer Facing Specialist and market teams.

Stakeholder Management – Liaison with all inter connected departments for Inventory Management, Reporting, Manpower requirement. Manage better relationship with other departments – Purchase, Inventory, Sales, Marketing for better functioning of production

Production Supervisory – Monitor progress on Weekly Plans and advice on priorities in case of constraints and backlogs

Manpower Planning – Daily man power planning, Scheduling for PVC in Gantt chart, monthly capacity 3200MT To get the batch closed within 24 hours of production.

ERP Management – To comply to production batches as released through ASCP in oracle to capture actual resource utilization in batches

Variance Analysis- To monitor variance report of every batch

PMO Projects:

• Identify cost reducing/revenue generating projects across all functions of the division through cross-functional ideation
• Co-ordinate with project leaders to initiate and implement projects with well-defined objectives, team members, timelines and financial benefits
• Track progress status of cross functional projects on a daily basis
• Initiated a project and led a team of 22 people which reduced the cost of 20 SKUs finished goods by 50%
