 Responsible in the day-to-day shift safety, generation and environmental performance
of the power station following manufacturer’s recommendations and approved
procedures.
 Responsible for supervising the receiving, unloading, delivery, and processing of
coal to support on MW production, and dispatch load requirements.
 Day-to-day monitoring of the coal inventory to ensure that adequate levels are
maintained to meet plant fuel requirements.
 Provide supervision and leadership of shift team including root cause of failure
determination, technical advice and back up; particularly in case of emergencies
such as unit trip, equipment and control failures, and calamities to ensure
continuous availability of the station.
 Ensure performance monitoring is carried out and plant performance is optimized.
 Coordinates with other department/section to facilitate the completion of
maintenance works and reduces equipment downtimes, including issuing work
orders when required.
 Maintain operational liaison with the commercial trader/System Operator and other
customers to ensure power export is in accordance and compliance with the PPA.
 Coordinate safety with regards to shift work activities, release of plant equipment for
maintenance and the carrying out of the isolation of high voltage equipment.
 Ensure that all Permit-To-Work documents is properly prepared and cancelled
according to Lockout/Tag out procedures including isolation and de-isolation to
obtain maximum safe work environment for both recipients and operators and
further prevent equipment damage. Also carries out testing of plant after repairs.
 Acts as Coordinator during scheduled maintenance outages.
 Ensures activities performed are aligned and in strict compliance with safety and
health policies on plant operation.
 Document plant performance with shift logs, defect reporting, fault reporting and
writing, revision and review of operational procedures including emissions.

QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR
PINEAPPLE OPERATIONS
 Responsible for hourly sampling of different pineapple variants for BRIX analysis, i.e., tidbits,
chunks, slices, tidbits for food service, and crushed pineapple.
 Monitor juice (for pineapple variants) processing temperature in an hourly basis to ensure it is
within specification.
 Inform any production supervisor on duty for any deviations noted for immediate corrective
action.
 Prepare and submit QA inspector report.
JUICE OPERATIONS
 Monitor hourly sampling of any juice variants, i.e., pineapple, mango, four seasons, and
pineapple orange for BRIX analysis and vitamin C content.
 Monitor juice processing temperature.
 Report any specification deviation to any production supervisor on duty for corrective action.
 Prepare and submit QA inspector report.
WATER ANALYST
 Hourly sampling of water used (for processing, pressurized coolers, and potable water
fountains) in the Plant and have it analyzed for chlorine concentration and ph.
 Inform concerned department for any deviation noted for corrective action.
 Perform microscopic job like smear test.
 Prepare and submit water analyst report.
CAN PLANT QA INSPECTOR
 Hourly physical inspection of any can size produced to check whether the can seamer is
producing quality seam (i.e. flange checking).
 Check the required can beads (i.e. collapse or not) to ensure it is within the specification.
 If deviations found, inform any supervisor on duty for an immediate corrective action.
 Submit inspection report of QA supervisor.
BRITE/LANDING SECTION INSPECTOR
 Hourly physical inspection of unlabeled finished product (different can sizes) from pressurized
coolers to ensure cans are free from rim cuts, dents, dirt or grease.
 Inform any production supervisor on duty for any deviations from the specification for
corrective action.
 Retain Samples for every variety and every size for micro analysis.
 Submit inspection report to QA office.
LABELLING SECTION INSPECTOR
 Hourly physical inspection on several labeling lines to ensure right product for the right label.
 If non-conformance found, inform line operator or supervisor on duty for corrective action.
 Submit report of inspection to QA office.
