Plans and evaluates food needed for patients, hospital meetings and/or hospital events;
Checks raw food ingredients;
Check diet lists and interprets/formulates diet prescription;
Gives dietary counseling;
Makes cycle menu;
Supervises the dietary staff and sanitary and safety measures in the dietary area and even in food preparation area;
Makes monthly dietary schedule of Cooks and Kitchen Aide;
Maintains high standards of food refrigeration and storage;
Checks the daily time record of the dietary staff;
Approves overtime, under time, and leave applications;
Recommends request-for-personnel forms and misconduct forms;
Conduct section meetings and submits reports to the Human Resource Department;
Represents the Dietary Section during Management Meetings; and
Performs additional duties assigned by Medical Director/ Human Resource Director
