Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proactively engages and prospects customers as they enter the store.
• Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items after considering their needs.
• Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
• Ensures all troubleshooting related to cash and credit card handling.
• Keeps customers informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales, promotions and future merchandise of potential interest.

Stock Presentation & Management:

• Works closely with visual display staff and store management to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales.
• Liaises with Area / Retail Operation Manager (in absence of store manager) to ensure the store has the correct stock package and required stock levels to maximize sales potential.
• Analyzes every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the best selling price points, colors and styles) and ensuring the best sellers reach their full potential.
• Monitors slow sellers and recommends to senior management actions to reduce prices or set promotions as deemed necessary.
• Assists management in effectively communicating any changes in stock or store layout to all member of the sales team.
• Maintains the back store operation and replenishment of the front floor merchandise.
• Assists manager in all store operational tasks (inventory, cash protection and loss prevention, overhead and supply costs, and any other tasks that might be required).
• Ensures loss prevention, safety and security guidelines are implemented and utilized
• Manages merchandise stock levels.
• Ensures all store orders and customer special orders are accurate and delivered on time
