EXPERIENCE’ SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
AS ACCOUNTING STAFF/ OFFICER-IN-CHARGE
• During my first year my job is handling Petty Cash, reconciling expenses, communicating with the suppliers and processing the purchase of supplies and inventories.
• Preparation and payment of SSS and PHIC to authorized bank.
• Entering entries and printing check vouchers and updating journals.
• Preparing and submitting payment of Value Added Tax and Witholding Tax to BIR/Bank Authorized Agent.
• Filing important documents and processing Business permits and other Government requirement. Submitting and filing SEC registration.
• Verification and double checking of Payroll that comes from Manpower Agencies.
• Then, recording the Revenue was assigned to me. Computation daily sales revenue in the three departments- Rooms, Food & Beverage and Other Operating Department using Microsoft Excel.
• Journaling transactions and making Financial Statements using Quickbooks and preparing the monthly and year-end reports.
• Monitoring Customer’s Deposit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable.
• Reconciling Cash Receipts with the actual cash count.
• After 2 years I was designated as an Officer-in-Charge.
• Overseeing the hotel operations, making sure that we are following the company’s policies and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Addressing the concern of the guests. Making strategic plans on how to increase sales by conducting a whole year marketing and advertising plan.
